How to measure correctly？

Measure the inside width of the opening — from one wall to the opposite wall, where the two ends will actually touch. If your measurement falls in the last 2 inches of a range, size up to be safe
Will the shower curtain rod easily slip or loosen? How is stability ensured?

Two fixes:

Too smooth (glass, glazed tile, polished marble): add the included anti-slip pads to both end caps.

Too textured / soft (wallpaper, textured tile): the ends can't grip — move to a flat, smooth spot, or message us for free adhesive mounts.
The rod won't twist / is stuck？

Don't force it. Pull the thin inner pole out slightly to relieve tension, then rotate. Tighten only until the rod feels firm - never past the spring's limit. Forcing the spring past its limit cracks the internal mechanism and can damage the rod
"My space is 36 inches — close enough？"

No. A tension rod only reaches if your gap fits fully inside the size range. If your opening is 20 - 32" , choose the 17-35" model. If your opening is 20-48" , choose the 17-51" model. If it's 20- 64" , choose 17-67". If 20 - 80" , choose 17- 83"
